Jaipuria Institute’s SIP Pitching Event: A Triumph in Student Professional Growth
SIP Pitching for the students of Batch 2023-25 was organised by Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow. It was conducted by the Placement and Corporate Relations Committee under the esteemed guidance of Dr. Ashutosh Kumar Srivastava (Chairperson, Placement and Corporate Relations Committee), Mr. Himanshu Misra (Area Chair Training - PAN Campus), Mr. Arjit Mani Tripathi (Asst. General Manager - Corporate Relations) and Mr. Prabhu S. Mathur (Sr. Manager, Training & Placements). Student Development Council 2024 organised it smoothly with the valuable support of Aniket Mishra (Coordinator of the Placement & Corporate Relations Committee).
The core objective of the “SIP Pitching” was to immerse students in a realistic and rigorous interview environment, helping them to hone their communication skills, refine their responses to interview questions, and build confidence essential for their professional journeys.
The session commenced with a thorough briefing for the guest mentors, who were esteemed professionals representing a diverse range of industries. This initial orientation set the stage for a highly engaging and insightful experience for both mentors and students.
Throughout the event, students were paired up, with each trio allocated a 30-minute interview slot. During these sessions, the mentors meticulously evaluated the candidates on several crucial aspects, including Domain Knowledge, Communication Skills, Confidence, and Non-Verbal Cues such as Facial Expressions. This rigorous assessment process was designed to simulate real-world interview conditions, providing students with a highly realistic and immersive experience.
The feedback provided by the mentors was not only detailed but also exceptionally constructive, offering students a clear understanding of their performance. This personalized feedback was instrumental in helping students recognize their strengths and pinpoint areas that needed improvement. Moreover, the mentors shared practical tips and strategies for acing interviews, making the sessions not just evaluative but also deeply educational. This approach ensured that students walked away with a comprehensive understanding of how to enhance their interview skills, ultimately preparing them more effectively for future professional challenges.
The mentors for the SIP Pitching were professionals from an impressive array of prestigious companies, reflecting the event’s high standards and its focus on real-world applications.

The SIP Pitching event was a resounding success, equipping the students with the skills and confidence needed for their upcoming internships and future job interviews. The participation of high-profile companies and the insightful feedback provided by their representatives significantly enhanced the learning experience, making it a valuable component of the students’ academic journey. The Placement and Corporate Relations Committee, along with all the participants and volunteers, contributed to making this event a cornerstone of professional development at Jaipuria Institute of Management.
