Annual Alumni Chapter Meet “Samyantar”: A Grand Success

The much-anticipated annual alumni chapter meet, Samyantar, unfolded on 14th Dec-24, bringing together a vibrant gathering of alumni, faculty, and students at Hotel Fairfield Marriott. This year’s event was marked by great enthusiasm, with some coming from as far as Dubai and Abu Dhabi to be part of the celebrations. The evening was a true testament to the deep bonds and enduring connections within the JIML alumni community.

The event kicked off with a warm welcome by the Alumni Relations Cell, setting a tone of camaraderie and nostalgia. The formal proceedings began with an address by Dr. Sushma Vishnani, Deam academics Jaipuria Institute of Management Lucknow, who highlighted the institute’s achievements over the past year and the crucial role played by alumni in shaping its legacy. Following up, Dr. Anupam Saxena, Area Chaiperson, Alumni Relations Committee , shared few words. The speech resonated with the audience, evoking pride and a renewed commitment to giving back to the alma mater.

The event was then followed by unveiling the annual magazine of Alumni relations committee which is "Cynosure".

One of the evening’s key highlights was the announcement of the prestigious JIMAA Scholarship, awarded to three deserving students for their exceptional academic performance and all-round contributions. The scholarship, made possible through the generous contributions of our alumni, underscores the spirit of mutual support and the culture of excellence that defines the JIML community, this year’s recipients were Mr. Harshit Tiwari, Mr. Om Pandey and Ms. Sakshi Nayak.

The gathering also featured engaging networking sessions, where alumni reconnected with batch mates and faculty, sharing memories and professional milestones. Adding a lively touch to the evening, cultural performances by live band left the audience enthralled. Their energy and talent reflected the dynamic spirit of eve, bridging the generational gap and reaffirming the shared values that unite us all.

The evening concluded on a high note with a gala dinner, where alumni, students, and faculty mingled informally, celebrating the success of the event and the enduring strength of the JIML alumni network. As attendees bid farewell, there was a unanimous sense of pride and anticipation for future engagements, reinforcing the essence of “Samyantar” – a meeting of parallel journeys, united by a shared heritage.
