It allowed students to showcase their competencies across various activities. The event was organized under the esteemed guidance of Dr. Rashmi Chaudhary (Dean: Student Affairs). It was expertly coordinated by Student Development Council 2024.
PEER LEARNING SESSION
On 16th August 2024, Peer Learning Session was organized by the Academic Program Committee, under the guidance of Dr. Rashmi Chaudhary (Dean: Student Affairs) and Dr. Sushma Vishnani (Faculty Coordinator: Academic Program Committee) and was well-coordinated by Mr. Md. Yusuf Aadil (Senior Member – Academic Program Committee). The "Accounting for Business" session, led by Mr. Keshav Rathi (Batch 2023-25), offered an interactive platform for students to explore accountancy concepts, address doubts, and engage in peer discussions, enhancing their learnings.
QUIZ MASTERY
On 16th August 2024, Quiz Mastery was organized by the Academic Program Committee, under the guidance of Dr. Sushma Vishnani (Faculty Coordinator: Academic Program Committee) and was well-coordinated by Ms. Riya Kapoor (Senior Member – Academic Program Committee) and Mr. Siddharth Shukla (Senior Member – Academic Program Committee). The activity began with an online quiz on Quiz.com. The top 6 performers were assessed on their peer engagement skills by Ms. Preeti Srivastava (Academic Program Committee - Coordinator: 2023-25) and Mr. Sagar Shukla (Vice President: Student Development Council 2024). Finalists discussed key topics like Cash vs. Accrual Accounting, the Law of Demand and Supply, Price Elasticity, Marketing Mix, and PESTEL, with students showing notable enthusiasm and competitive spirit.
MARKETING TRIVIA
On 16th August 2024, Marketing Trivia was organized by the Domain Forum Committee – Marketing, under the guidance of Dr. Reeti Agarwal (Faculty Coordinator: Domain Forum Committee- Marketing) and was well-coordinated by Ms. Ayushi Sharma (Senior Member – Marketing, Domain Forum Committee). The activity was an online Kahoot quiz focused on Marketing Management. Students participated by answering 50 questions designed to assess their marketing knowledge and application skills. The quiz was both educational and enjoyable for the participants, reflecting their enthusiasm for the subject.

On 16th August 2024, Zumba Class was organized by Student Welfare and Disciplinary Committee, under the guidance of Dr. Rashmi Chaudhary (Faculty Coordinator: Student Welfare and Disciplinary Committee) and was well-coordinated by Mr. Ritick Chauhan (Student Coordinator: Student Welfare and Discipline Committee) and Ms. Ayushi Gupta (Senior Member Student Welfare and Discipline Committee). The session featured guest instructor Abhishek Lamba, who led an energetic workout with lively music and fun moves. The activity provided a refreshing and engaging experience for all participants, helping them relieve stress while staying active.
GREEN FOOTPRINTS – STEPS TOWARDS CONSERVATION
On 16th August 2024, "Green Footprints – Steps towards Conservation" was organized by Social Responsibility Committee, under guidance of Dr. Reena Agarwal (Faculty Coordinator: Social Responsibility Committee) and well-coordinated by Mr. Saurabh Singh (Student Coordinator: Social Responsibility Committee). The initiative involved 15 student volunteers engaging over 80 households in Vineet Khand, Gomti Nagar, to promote sustainable practices such as water conservation, waste reduction, and tree planting. Community members were encouraged to adopt eco-friendly habits, with high participation reflecting their enthusiasm for the initiative.

Ms. Akanksha Kumari (Batch 2023-25), led a session on Fundamental Marketing Concepts for the 2023-25 batch, promoting interactive learning through peer discussions. The session ended with a lively Kahoot quiz, showcasing students' enthusiasm and competitive spirit.

“Introduction to Enterprise Resource Planning”
On 31st August 2024, Domain Forum Committee – Operations organized a Guest Session on the topic "Technology and Automation in Services" under the course Managing Service Operations. It was organized under the guidance of Dr. Ajay Jha (Faculty Coordinator: Domain Forum Committee- Operations) and Dr. Anupam Saxena (Faculty, Managing Service Operations) and was well coordinated by Mr. Aditya Sharma (Student Coordinator: Domain Forum Committee- Operations). The Guest Speaker for the Session was Professor Veena Bansal from IIT Kanpur. Professor Bansal, a renowned expert in the field, shared valuable insights into the fundamental aspects of Enterprise Resource Planning, highlighting its significance in modern business management. The session comprehensively covered various facets that contribute to the importance of ERP in today's business environment.
OUT-OF-THE-BOX THINKING TO RESOLVE ENVIRONMENTAL & SOCIAL ISSUES
On 23th August 2024, Out-Of-the-Box Thinking to Resolve Environmental & Social Issues” was organized by Social Responsibility Committee, under the guidance of Dr. Reena Agarwal (Faculty Coordinator: Social Responsibility Committee) and was well coordinated by Mr. Saurabh Singh (Student Coordinator: Social Responsibility Committee). The activity engaged students in crafting innovative solutions to significant sustainability challenges. Under the guidance of the Social Responsibility Committee, the initiative encouraged creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking, aligning with 12 Sustainable Development Goals. The enthusiasm of students was evident from their active participation and creative contributions to addressing environmental and social issues.
SPORTS ACTIVITY
On 24th August 2024, The Sports Activity was organized by Sports and Wellness Committee, under the guidance of Dr. Hemendra Gupta (Faculty Coordinator: Sports and Wellness Committee), and was well-coordinated by Mr. Saransh Gupta (Student Coordinator – Sports and Wellness Committee), Sudhanshu Tiwari (Senior Member – Sports and Wellness Committee), Sumoksh Dwivedi (Senior Member – Sports and Wellness Committee), Shrey Kumar Gupta (Senior Member – Sports and Wellness Committee), Shashank Singh (Senior Member – Sports and Wellness Committee), Monika Tiwari (Senior Member – Sports and Wellness Committee).

JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATION
On 26th August 2024, Hostel and Mess Committee organized Janmashtami Celebration across three hostels, under the guidance of Dr. Upendra Nath Shukla (Faculty Coordinator: Hostel and Mess Committee), Dr. Kajal Srivastava (Faculty Coordinator: Hostel and Mess Committee), Mr. Sudhkar Singh (Warden- Boys Hostel), Mrs. Savitri Rai (Warden- Girls Hostel) and Mrs. Seema Singh (Warden- Girls Hostel). It was well coordinated by Ms. Malika Kaur (Student Coordinator: Hostel and Mess Committee)
The activity was a series of reverent and joyful activities. Hostellers, guided by the wardens, led the decoration of the venue, creating a festive atmosphere. The celebration began with sacred rituals, highlighted by the symbolic birth of Lord Krishna at midnight. The event included vibrant traditional dances and heartfelt prayers, creating a spiritually uplifting experience. The evening concluded with the distribution of prasad and sweets, fostering a sense of community and devotion among attendees.
BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION OF AUGUST BORN
On 30th August 2024, Hostel and Mess Committee hosted the August month-end birthday celebration across three hostels under the guidance of Dr. Upendra Nath Shukla (Faculty Coordinator: Hostel and Mess Committee), Dr. Kajal Srivastava (Faculty Coordinator: Hostel and Mess Committee), Mr. Sudhkar Singh (Warden- Boys Hostel), Mrs. Savitri Rai (Warden- Girls Hostel) and Mrs. Seema Singh (Warden- Girls Hostel). The activity began with a cake-cutting ceremony to celebrate the birthdays of students born in August. This was followed by engaging games like Passing the Parcel, Musical Chairs, and Song Guessing, fostering camaraderie among hostel residents. The celebration concluded with a small get-together, allowing students to socialize in a warm and festive atmosphere, highlighting the institute's commitment to nurturing a vibrant and inclusive community.
DISCUSSION ON WOMAN SAFETY
On 30th August 2024, The Social Responsibility Committee (SRC) organized an insightful event focused on Women's Safety and Empowerment, under the guidance of Dr. Reena Agarwal (Faculty Coordinator: Social Responsibility Committee). It was well coordinated by Mr. Saurabh Singh (Student Coordinator: Social Responsibility Committee), Ms. Preksha Jain (Senior Member: Social Responsibility Committee), and Ms. Vaishnavi Sharma (Senior Member: Social Responsibility Committee).
The event addressed the pressing social issues concerning women in our country and involved 20 groups of students who participated in in-depth discussions, sharing their views on the challenges and solutions related to women's safety.
The event highlighted diverse perspectives, particularly from female students, who emphasized that societal mindset is as crucial as education in ensuring women's safety and empowerment. Despite educational programs and corporate policies like POSH, real change requires a more respectful and equitable view of women within society. The discussion underscored that transforming societal attitudes is essential to complement educational efforts in achieving gender equality. The SRC remains committed to advocating for these critical changes to create a safer and more just society for all women.
COLOURS OF EXPRESSION: FACE PAINTING COMPETITION
On 31st August 2024, The Social Responsibility Committee organized "Colours of Expression" under the guidance of Dr. Reena Agarwal (Faculty Coordinator: Social Responsibility Committee) and was well-coordinated by Mr. Saurabh Singh (Student Coordinator: Social Responsibility Committee).
The event featured a face-painting competition that allowed students to creatively express their views on key social issues, particularly environmental sustainability and social justice, reflecting the Institute's commitment to social responsibility. Participants competed individually or in teams, with many choosing the latter to produce detailed, expressive designs. Judging criteria included creativity, theme relevance, artistic skill, and presentation. The event was a successful showcase of artistic talent and a powerful platform for raising awareness on crucial social and environmental topics.
PITCH PERFECT
On 31st August 2024, The Domain Forum Committee organized "Pitch Perfect” under the guidance of Dr. Vijay Lakshmi Singh (Faculty Coordinator: Domain Forum Committee- HR), and was well coordinated by Mr. Rachit Diwaker (Student Coordinator: Domain Forum Committee - HR).
The activity commenced with a Kahoot quiz aimed at gauging the participants' understanding of Organizational Behavior and HR topics. Upon completion of the quiz, the top 10 performers were given a unique opportunity to showcase their abilities by pitching themselves to Dr. Vijay Lakshmi Singh (Faculty Judge). This segment was designed to rigorously assess their skills in persuasion, their confidence in presenting ideas, and their overall clarity of thought.
BALLON HEIGHTS
On 31st August 2024, The Domain Forum Committee organized Ballon Heights 2.0, a creative and engaging tower-building competition under the guidance of Dr. Reeti Agarwal (Faculty Coordinator: Domain Forum Committee- Marketing) and well-coordinated by Mr. Divyansh Srivastava (Student Coordinator: Domain Forum Committee- Marketing).
The activity provided a platform for participants to demonstrate their creativity, problem-solving, and management skills. By constructing innovative towers using balloons, participants highlighted the critical role of creativity and adaptability in effective project management. The event was a significant success, underscoring the importance of these skills in both academic and professional settings.
FASHION RAMP WALK
On 31st August 2024, The Cultural Committee organized an engaging activity: “Fashion Ramp Walk”, under the guidance of Dr. Anjali Tiwary (Faculty Coordinator: Cultural Committee), and was well-coordinated by Ms. Akanksha Kumari (Student Coordinator: Cultural Committee).
The activity featured Student Volunteer from Batch of 2024-26: Durga Jha, Piyush Mishra, Shahrukh, Prableen Kaur, Saumya Gupta, Ananya Seth, Priyanshi Priya, Khushi Gupta, and Shruti Singh, who worked diligently to ensure its success. The distinguished panel of judges included Ms. Anushka Agarwal (Student Coordinator: Cultural Committee), Ms. Agrata Srivastava (Senior Member: Cultural Committee), Priya Bisht (Senior Member: Cultural Committee), and Anurag Srivastava (Senior Member: Cultural Committee), who evaluated the participants' performances with keen attention.
In this captivating event, participants brought Indian cinema to life by embodying their favourite Bollywood characters. They walked the runway in full costume, performing iconic scenes that captivated the audience, showcasing creativity and celebrating the vibrant spirit of Bollywood.
BUSINESS PERSONALITIES PRESENTATION
On 31st August 2024, The Incubation Committee organized the activity: "Pioneers of Success: A Business Odyssey- Business Personalities Presentation, under the guidance of Dr Jyoti Diwan (Faculty Coordinator: Incubation Committee) and well-coordinated by Mr. Aniket Gupta (Student Coordinator: Incubation Committee) and Mr. Sagar Agarwal (Senior Member: Incubation Committee).
The activity featured presentations on influential entrepreneurs, highlighting the importance of leadership and innovation in business. Organized by Mr. Sagar Agarwal (Senior Member: Incubation Committee) and supported by volunteers, it aimed to foster an entrepreneurial mindset. The winning team—Aditya Sharma, Apurv Srivastava, Neeraj Maheshwari, and Vijay Shukla—delivered a compelling presentation on Ola CEO Bhavish Agarwal. The event concluded with Mr. Sagar Agarwal (Senior Member: Incubation Committee) praising all participants and volunteers, successfully enhancing students' management skills.
DIGITAL SYNERGY: BRIDGING BANKING, FMCG, AND RETAIL IN CUSTOMER JOURNEY
On 31st August 2024, The Alumni Relations Committee organized a Panel Discussion: Digital Synergy: Bridging Banking, FMCG and Retail in Customer Journey under the guidance of Dr. Anurag Mohan (Faculty Coordinator: Alumni Relations Committee) and was well coordinated by Ms. Muskan Bansal (Student Coordinator: Alumni Relations Committee).
The Panel discussion featured distinguished alumni from the FMCG, retail, and banking sectors. Esteemed speakers Mr. Anish Mathew (Batch 2004-2006), Mr. Sunny Manglani (Batch 2013-2015), and Ms. Vartika Gupta (Batch 2016-2018) provided valuable insights into the evolving customer journey in today's digital landscape. The event's Moderators were Ms. Shalini Shahi (Senior Member: Alumni Relations Commitee) and Himanshi Singh (Senior Member: Alumni Realtions Commitee). The discussion highlighted industry-specific trends and strategies, offering students practical knowledge and perspectives crucial for shaping their careers in the digital world.
CHAIR JAM: FUN AND SURPRISES
On 31st August 2024, The Placement and Corporate Relation Committee organized "Chair Jam: Fun & Surprises", under the guidance of Dr. Ashutosh Kumar Srivastava (Chairperson: Placement and Corporate Relations Committee). It was well-coordinated by Mr. Ankit Mishra (Student Coordinator: Placement and Corporate Relations Committee) and Ms. Tanushree Pandey (Senior Member: Placement and Corporate Relations Committee).
The activity featured two rounds, creatively combining musical chairs with panel discussions to enhance participants' communication skills, confidence, and creativity. As participants were eliminated from the game, they formed groups for panel discussions on abstract topics. The final winner from the musical chair joined the jury as a peer judge. Discussions were evaluated on communication, confidence, presence of mind, and knowledge, making the event both engaging and educational.

On 31st August 2024, The Domain Committee - Finance, organized Finance Quiz under the guidance of Dr. Hemendra Gupta (Faculty Coordinator: The Domain Committee - Finance). It was well coordinated by Ms. Gargi Tiwari (Student Coordinator: The Domain Committee - Finance)
The quiz was designed to assess participants' financial acumen from the first trimester. It aimed to boost confidence, validate the understanding of key finance concepts, and encourage a competitive spirit among participants. The event featured 40 questions conducted online via Kahoot, with participants competing individually to showcase their knowledge in a challenging and competitive environment. The quiz provided an excellent platform for participants to demonstrate their expertise and engage with their peers in a spirited contest.
