E-FEST 2026–27 | Day 1: Making Ideas Happen!-Jaipuria Lucknow
Ideas took centre stage as Jaipuria Incubation Foundation Inaugurated
E-FEST 2026–27 at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow, on 9th September
2026, under the
inspiring theme “Make Ideas Happen.”
Day 1 brought together innovation, entrepreneurship,
creativity, and experiential learning, creating an energetic campus buzzing
with ideas, opportunities, and possibilities.
The celebrations commenced with the Inauguration and
Ceremonial Lamp Lighting in the presence of Dr. Sushma Vishnani,
Director, and Dr. Jyoti Dewan, Chair – Incubation.
This was followed by an engaging Founder Talk and Panel
Discussion, moderated by Dr. Jyoti Dewan, featuring Mr. Madhukar
Varshney, Founder & MD, NIMBLEQ, and Ms. Jyotsna Kaur Habibullah,
CEO, Lucknow Farmers Market. Their experiences and insights encouraged
students to think beyond ideas, embrace an entrepreneurial mindset, and take
meaningful steps towards turning possibilities into action.
The dignitaries were felicitated by Dr. Jyoti Dewan, joined
by Dr. Vir Ved Ratna, PAN Area Chair & Area Chair – General Management
& Strategy, and Dr. Devesh Kumar, Faculty – Business Analytics.
Meanwhile, the campus transformed into a vibrant
entrepreneurial marketplace, with student-led stalls showcasing a diverse
range of products, creative ventures, handmade offerings, food products, and
services. The atmosphere reflected the spirit of enterprise, with students
interacting, selling, learning, and experiencing entrepreneurship first-hand.
A Mini Mart was also organised as part of the
celebrations and was thoroughly enjoyed by faculty, staff, and students.
Offering an engaging marketplace experience, it added to the festive spirit and
brought the entire Jaipuria community together beyond the classroom.
The competitive spirit came alive with “Build the Brand –
The Comeback Challenge,” judged by Dr. Shivam Azad, Chair – Sports
Committee, and Dr. Nilesh Kumar Tiwari, Co-Chair – Hostel Committee.
This was followed by “Startup Treasure Hunt – The Campus-Wide Challenge,”
judged by Dr. Chandraketu Singh, Program Chair – PGDM-FS, and Dr.
Vijay Lakshmi Singh, Area Chair – OB & HR.
Through these activities, students put their creativity,
strategic thinking, teamwork, problem-solving, communication, and
entrepreneurial decision-making into practice, turning learning into
action.
And because every great festival deserves a grand finale, Day
1 concluded on a high note with a live musical performance by The Pleasing
Note, adding rhythm and energy to an already vibrant celebration.
From
ideas to action, from classrooms to real-world experiences, Day 1 of E-FEST
2026–27 truly brought the theme “Make Ideas Happen” to life.
