15th Foundation Day Celebration at JIM-Indore

The 15th Foundation Day of Jaipuria Institute of Management Indore was celebrated enthusiastically. Inspiring stories about the institute's origins and journey were shared, with faculty and alumni highlighting key milestones. The event was a memorable celebration of Jaipuria's rich heritage and promising future.

 

Dr. Deepankar Chakraborti, the Director of Jaipuria Indore, warmly welcomed the guests and shared insights into the institution’s beginnings. He emphasized the pivotal role played by various stakeholders—faculty, administration, students, and alumni—in shaping the organization.

 

PN Shetty, CEO of Rupeeboss Financial Services, was felicitated with a green certificate. His bank is a leader in providing MSME loans. His bank stands at the forefront of providing MSME loans, a critical support system for small and medium-sized enterprises. In his address, Mr. Shetty delved into the intricate workings of the financial world, emphasizing the unwavering commitment to integrity in matters of growth and money within the workplace.

 

Mr. Shetty detailed the intricacies of the financial world, highlighting the crucial role of integrity in achieving growth and managing money in the workplace. He recommended planning one's day to enhance productivity and shared his personal journey of overcoming setbacks to build Rupeeboss into a leading MSME loan provider. He pointed out that large corporations are unable to create many jobs due to the rise of AI, advising students to focus on the 6.3 crore MSMEs in India, which are vital for fostering employment opportunities.
 

The second guest, Mr. Sunil Agarwal of Black Olive Ventures Pvt Ltd., an Indian real estate IB and asset management firm, spoke on "How to Make Management Students More Employable." He discussed three major types of skills: technical skills, people skills, and attitude. Mr Agarwal emphasized understanding different industries to ease work transitions and highlighted the importance of preparation for making the right decisions. Sharing his journey from civil engineer to real estate business leader, he associated his success with the 'black swan' moment, signifying that significant changes can happen unexpectedly. He concluded by encouraging hard work and finding balance in life. 
 

Dr Rekha Attri, Dean of Student Affairs and Dr Amiya Kumar Mohapatra, Dean of Research were honoured with a prestigious award for their outstanding Research Contributions, setting new benchmarks and inspiring the academic community.
